First time I've done his associated quest and i must say he's extremely annoying (not the talking, that's actually quite funny at times). I've also never had a dog as a follower. Granted, he comes in handy insofar you're able to go anywhere, at any level without much fear of dying, but [censored] me, he's a Royal pain up the backside. Always pushes me as I'm about to fire off a shot with a bow, when i'm talking to people and so on.

When I take a dog with me, they have tendency to die very quickly. They die so quickly that they don't have chance to annoy me. Barbas annoys me, too.

I think they made Barbas that annoying on purpose so you will finish his quest as soon as possible and maybe to let you know why his master ran him off. Meeko isn't as annoying as Barbas though he does have a habit of standing sideways in doorways blocking your way. If you have Dawnguard the Huskies are the least annoying of the dog races so far.

I hate it when the followers push me. One pushed me off of Bard's Leap.

Dogs seem to be the most pushy because they get so close. Is there a setting where you can tell the follower to stay back a bit? There should be.

What bugged me the most about the dogs is the barking. Too much barking.

Dog's barking gets annoying, But that means you just stay away from them when they follow you, Get a couple steps ahead.

Barbas is the most annoying dog, But since he is the Merchant Mudcrab from Morrowind. I could Forgive him.


Meeko is one of my Favorite Dogs though.
