Skyrim field of view stretch.

I ,thankfully, just discovered increasing my FOV. Oh my goodness, it is like heaven playing at 100 FOV! I don't have to spin my head around every second. I do, however, have a problem: is there any way to reduce the stretchy-ness that you get at the edges of the screen?

It does not take much more than the stock 75 degrees to get an improvement. Try setting the FOV to 90 or even 85. 100 might be too much for the aspect ratio of the monitor.

The distortion at the edges of the screen is unavoidable unless you get a very wide screen.

According tohttp://j-u-i-c-e.hubpages.com/hub/change-fov-skyrim the default FOV for Skyrim is 65, so maybe even setting it to 75 would improve things enough for you.

I tried resetting it and found that a small boost was all I needed (I didn't like the distortion).
