On these forums, I notice some people praising Bethesda without exception. What do you think of that? If we must, let's expand the discussion to ANY company.

I don't like Bethesda. They've put all of my interests on the back-burner.

Exactly. There are people who openly admit that. BUT there are others who cannot bring themselves to do so.

I can admit Bethesda has taken the series down a road I don't particularly enjoy. That wasn't hard.

There is an equal distribution of opinions all throughout the forums, though these opinions are often pretty polarizing. You want real fanboysim? Pay a visit to the Skyrim subreddit.

Trust me, when I was reintroduced to the TES franchise, I spent ALOT of time there.

Or most of the people in the Fallout forums.

Anyways, it's not that I dislike Bethesda, but I think their writing is horrible, and their emphasis on exploration to the point where the writing suffers is really misguided. That being said, they are still higher up on my list of liked developers than most others. Definitely in my top 5.
