what a challenge...

So i decided ill make my first spell sword. The thing is I started out on master difficulty and im a level 11. This. is. hard.

But that's what makes it fun! but i'm in solstheim now and almost everything can 1sk me. How can i improve my durability?

Right now im using a bound sword that does 20 damage but its nt nearly enough. I want to use destruction but i can only shott three ice spikes till im out of magica and they dont do enough damage in the first place.

I could could try to get my enchanting up so i can smith better, as well as enchant my items to redue cost in destroction/restoration.

Thoughts?

Ps: this thread is mostly for talking about the challenge of solstheim but i cant help but go on a rant

Best bet is to not play on master at level 11 on Solstheim.

My personal suggestion would be to go back to Skyrim and "train" for a bit. At least until you're close to/just above level 20.

Solstheim is different than the rest of the game. In vanilla Skyrim, Dawnguard, etc., the enemies are set to scale from level 1-level 30+ or something, depending on your character level.

In Solstheim, the NPC/Creature leveler seems to be set at a base level of 25, and then leveling with your character level after that. This leads to much tougher enemies.

Like I said, go back to Skyrim, complete some quest lines thus "training" your character an getting some better gear and Perks. Then attempt again.

Solstheim is no place to tread lightly, and even less so on Master.
