Hi there,

i bought Doom3 BFG yesterday on Steam. After installing the Game i would like to play. But i got a message from Windows "Doom3 has got any Problems and must be closed" (not the exactly message in english, because im german, hope you understand what i mean).

My System is:
Phenom X4
4 GB Ram
Windows 8 64Bit
ATI 4870

I tried the following solutions to fix the problem:
- deleting the client...blob from steam
- this solution with regedit and the valve regkey
- directx install from the doom3 folder
- msvc.exe (not exaktly but you know it, i hope)
- chance the language from german to english

In the steam forums many people has got the same problems but no one got a fix that works for me

Any idea? Any Patch on its way?
