Somehow my profile got corrupted and I had to delete it to redownload it.

No biggie, right? In my haste I deleted not only the corrupted profile but all game saves associated with it. Fortunately, I backed up my Skyrim saves for dragonborn on a USB. In regards to Skyrim, I lost all my Dragonborn progress. That's not a big deal I don't mind doing it again.

But I lost all my FO:3 and FO:NV, Oblivion, Mass Effect files.

One time, I thought for 2 seconds that I had accidentally deleted one of my Daggerfall saves.

I didn't, though.
