Bethesda was pretty clear about their plans for downloadable content, saying that they would have fewer, but larger add-ons. Well, that hasn't seemed to pan out quite right because I think we'd all agree that Hearthfire wasn't exactly a large DLC. Don't get me wrong, I love Hearthfire, but it would be quite a stretch to say that there was much to it. So that leaves us with Dawnguard and Dragonborn, which are both good in terms of the amount of content and things that they add to the game, at least in my opinion.

However, none of them have been a true expansion. Should we be expecting something like this? Something along the lines of Shivering Isles? And in general, how much more should we expect to see? I'm sure some of you guys know, and I don't want to take the time to look it up, but when was the last DLC for Oblivion, which was released in March of 2006 if my memory serves me right.

I'm really hoping for some kind of large download, a true expansion, but I'm not sure if we'll get it. Has Todd Howard or anyone from Bethesda indicated either way what we can expect after Dragonborn? Surely, that's not it for Skyrim add-ons.

I hope we do get some massive DLC. But i haven't played Dawnguard or Dragon-born yet unfortunatley ;( But when i do i will then be able to speculate more.

But one quick question if i may OP: Can you enchant staff's in dragonborn? (and are there new Dwemer ruins) I am scared of going on the DB part of the forums in case of spoilers.

However ON TOPIC: I would love there to be some HUGE dwemer dungeon dlc which really is an underground city! Alongside perhaps the last surviving snow elf refuge too. That would be interesting!

Not sure about the staff, i dont think u can i havent tried though, however there are more dwemer ruins to explore 1 being a very big one as well. If you enjoyed skyrims dwemer ruins, youll more then likely like these ones aswell, probably more.
