Race: Nord
Because Nords are the third tallest race so they have a bit of a speed advantage, they are resistant to one of the most common magic types in game, and their battle cry can be quite useful for an archer who is overwhelmed. An enemy with their back to you is a good target.
I plan to go with light armor, use alchemy for healing and poisons, disregard destruction, alteration, restoration, conjuration, and illusion as I already have a ranged attack, I don't need mage armor, I heal with potions, I won't be going the sneaky route (illusion) and mainly because it means switching out from my bow to cast a spell. I also plan to avoid using melee weapons in general. I do plan on using smithing to smith the best gear, but will only level items to legendary and not glitch past it. I will also be using enchanting but not using fortify archery damage enchants or potions. I do so because where I am going when combined with sneak would be considered "game breaking" but will probably be alright without using sneak, but boosting my damage with enchants and potions to make a bow do insane amounts of damage wouldn't be fun. I plan to reach the armor and magic resistance cap in time, and focus my stats on health and stamina until I get my stamina to a nice point (undecided as to what point that is) and then straight health.
I plan on going for the eagle eye and slow time perks as well as ranger, and only take the first level of critical shot as the damage of a critical is rather minimal as it is based off of the bow's base damage before smithing, magic effects, skill level, or perks are taken into account. I plan on maxing out the light armor tree, still undecided on how I will climb the alchemy and enchant trees, and will go up the light armor side of smithing as I get the best light armor, and best bow thanks to dawnguard dlc.
Does this sound like a good plan? Any suggestions? Note that switching to melee at any time, or using sneak at all is not open for discussion. I am going for all out archery. Kind of like Legolas in the lord of the rings movies in how he would be in a massive battle and surrounded by enemies and just taking enemies out rapidly one after the other. It will take some skill, but if asgard can do it as badly gimped as he makes himself and in what he deemed the worst possible place for this as demonstrated by this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsfKNk7mLLM I can surely do it on regular difficulty using enchants, smithing, and maxed out armor and magic resists.
