Calling people names is not the best way to make a point.

Skyrim is a great hunting game. My Nord hunts bandits, dragons, bears, wolves, trolls and more on a regular basis. Somehow, I never tire of getting an archery killcam, especially when the enemy falls over a ledge.

If someone wants to play as a hunter in their game, why does that bother someone else? It's a single player game; play it however you want and don't worry about what others are doing.

I fail to understand why you even bother. Are those 'dumb' people invading your gameworld?

It is possible to stay hidden well enough to get that close to a deer in real life, so I really fail to see whats so odd about it.

Or is it just the lack of guns that bothers you? :P

you mean it's not a hunting game?! awe!! my gaming world is shattered! no more picking wings off of butterflies, my Dunmer hunter will have to retire from Sabre Cats and Horkers (not to mention the thousands of bears) and my children will starve because i can't bring them meat or sell my furs! damn it!!

oh wait...what's that you say? it's my game and i can play it how i see fit? you don't say...whew!

I wonder if I can get away with calling people dumb just because of challenges they might experience while trying to play the game in a way that they enjoy.

Things that make you go "Hmm."

What if you don't wanna be a vampire, or are much for enchanting?

i haven't played any of those but having hunting in a game like skyrim just adds more depth...for example i play a nord who only eats meat to heal and go hunting when i need more.

if you want better hunting then go play cabela, this is skyrim

You're right OP, Skyrim isn't a good hunting game. But I'd suggest that's bacause it isn't a hunting game, it's a massive open world RPG that includes the ability to hunt.

This is like saying New Vegas isn't a good gambling game.

My Breton mage can creep up on them and knock them down with a lightning bolt spell.

"You can't hunt deer with magic spells in real life! What kind of dumb people think this is a hunting game?" :swear:

new vegas IS concentred in gambling.skyrim only have creatures to make it appear that the land has some "life" unlike vegas that is a wasteland

One minute, they're eating grass, then all of a sudden they get electricity up the butt. Too bad you can't catch fish just by casting shock spells at the water and electrocuting everything in the water.
