really, I would have thought there to be at least one dark elf child somewhere on Solsthiem. I know elves live a long time but, come on, there has got to be at least one. hopefully the Orphanage in Orsinium will have child orcs and other mer children.

*sigh8 children, children, children... but i do agree, I was at least hoping for a better wife option, or even a dark elf child as well. LOL kiddie orcs... I can only imagine how rough they are.

From what I can gather from the game its because they are financially hurting. Plus they don't have a whole lot of support since the island isn't a big priority to House Redoran back on their mainland. If the island had supporters then they could probably start building things up again but so far the mines were pretty much done for and the House pretty much told them sink or swim.
