When making fortify smithing or enchantment potions it isn't the gear you wear (for example, 4 pieces of armor that give you 29% bonus each to smithing) that's the problem. It's using gear to fortify alchemy even if it's simply 1 piece of armor that fortifies alchemy by 25% to make potions is what that take melee weapons to ridiculous levels.
The game is much more balanced if you don't use any fortify alchemy gear to make smithing/enchanting potions.

it is not the problem of alchemy. it is the combination of multiple crafting skill. you can say the same thing to enchanting combine with smithing. you can get your items beyond legendary
I don't use Fortify One/Two-Handed, Archery ect. The way i see it, you should get your bonus from only 1 of the crafts, it evens it out a bit more on Master. Otherwise, if you use all 3, it's just stupidly OP.

You have made numerous posts in the past praising the usefulness of Fortify Restoration Loop Exploit. Does this mean you are over it now?
