I've been thinking about how impersonal getting a horse is, you buy them for 1000 gold don't get to name it and if it dies oh well just go buy a new one, but what if you could do a quest to get a horse? Get to name it, gets a personality, and you become attached to this horse because he is not only your mount but your friend. To insure this attachment he gets skills and personal quest that helps progress his personality and abilities. Such as he gets sick or decides to run off one night while you sleep to find some wild horses that happen to be his family, or what if he has the soul of a legendary horse and he has a quest to find the glory of his ancestor. Could get his own unique armor and features that regular horses don't have. I think this would be a cool mod because he wouldn't just become your friend but a horse worthy of a Dovahkiin. I'm sure this would need some work as far as the whole idea hope to see some good ideas.
