Started a new game, (never had trouble with HF before) I have built the front entrance and main hall of Lakeview and appointed lydia my steward. i asked her to purchase a horse around 5-7 in-game days ago and still a horse has not shown up.
I have left the house continued on with missions and returned several times to Lakeview and still no horse, waited around the house for a day nothing. I even fast traveled to Whiterun and fast traveled back after waiting a day at Whiterun and still no horse.

Either I have the worst steward in the world or it is bugged, oh and lydia no longer has the option to purchase a horse and had 2k on me at the time I purchased it to begin with.

I had owned a horse before, purchased from Whiterun but she died after I uh walked her off a cliff. No animal rights group stopping the steward buy me a horse I hope.

Any ideas on how to resolve this would be appreciated, it isn't easy to make a 1000 gold with a new character on master difficulty
