Sylgja and other Bag Lady Wives

Post » Sat Dec 22, 2012 2:28 pm

Here's something I find silly that I feel should've been handled in Hearthfire: my wife, Sylgja, is married to me - ME, the landed, filthy rich Dragonborn, Thane of every hold in the province, Harbinger of the Companions, Archmage of the College of Winterhold, Master and Nightingale of the Thieves Guild, Listener of the Black Hand, slayer of Alduin World-Eater, more feared than God, more connected than the Illuminati, more money than the entire Murdoch family, we have a personal steward [read:butler], bard, and carriage driver on staff, and yet, for some reason, Sylgja remains dressed like she lives under an overpass. Baby, you're not a miner anymore; why are you still carrying a twenty-five pound pickaxe while you make the kids breakfast? This is one of those things that reminds me I'm playing a video game. Shouldn't there be an option to set this straight?

I find that her mother is much more attractive...

But yes I agree, I wish I was able to change my spouse's clothes.

hehe Silly wife, I had this problem when my Orc toon married the orc smith lady in Markarth. I mean...does she really have to wear that blacksmiths apron EVERYWHERE? I mean maybe she's afraid she will forget she is a blacksmith if she takes it off :P
