Hey all. So after 100's os hrs and multiple characters, I'm having some visual anomalies in my play through. I have all DLC on my HD with Skyrim on the drive as well. Game saves are about 12 mb each. Fat xbox 20 GB HD.

I installed Oblivion goty edition 2 weeks ago and installed mehrunes razor, frost rag spite, and thieves den. I missed Skyrim so I went back. Now my screen stutters every few seconds, ever so slightly. Not the lag inside foggy dungeons or the freezes while outside loading cells. It almost seems to be a random framerate drop every few seconds.
The gaming world is doing this, not just my movement (weeded out any controller issues). I uninstalled oblivion, cleared the system cache and the game cache ( rb lb x). I only roll with about 5-7 hard saves with autosave off. Could the Xbox be on the way out? Could I format he HD and push my saves to a thumb drive temporarily?

*edit* I still have some oblivion saves and an Oblivion system update on the HD. Not sure if this would matter.
