However, when I make a fortify alchemy enchantment, without any enchanting potions, I still only get 20% fortification! The Insightful Enchanter perk should have brought the enchantment strength up to 25%, right?
And this isn't just a one-off problem, or a couple of isolated incidents. No, it's consistent. Every time I make a new save file or start a new game, I will always have this problem.
While we're on the topic, why is it I can't re-name my newly enchanted items? At first, I thought this was done on purpose, like Bethesda just didn't put the option to re-name the item in. However, I recently saw some Youtube videos where the guy was very clearly able to re-name his enchantments, and drew no attention to this feature, which means he took the feature for granted and expected his audience to do the same.
Again, this is a consistent problem. It's minor, compared to the ineffectiveness of perks, but it is mildly annoying when I can't re-name my equipment to help me tell which one is which; I have to get completely different base items (e.g. silver necklace for dungeon-delving, and a gold necklace for fortify barter) so I can tell which one is which, and from what i can gather, I'm not supposed to have to do that!
Can someone help me solve these two problems?
