i have to admit that i have never played it until now :blush:

(have played quake 2 on ps1 though).

by the gods is it an awesome game or what :biggrin:

it's just relentless fun (am too rubbish to play on anything other than easy level :blush:

the controls are bang on,the graphics are fantastic (on my ancient 1.8 ghz pc too). and as for the shambler well words fail me on that bad boy/girl :blink:

talk about hard as nails.

i have seen the future now and it is quake (only 15+ years late :goodjob:

Quake 1 was okay I love commenting sucide by lightning gun and water, sometimes you can see your own head if the bit and pieces fall right. The only thing I didn't like about that game was the anticlamatic final boss "fight" .

Just teleport into the wierd squid like thing and that's that.
