Me and my friends have been playing the elder scrolls since Morrowind and consider ourselves avid fans. when we first heard about this game, we were, like many people, nervous about it. though we have come to be very interested in it. one of my friends even built a PC in anticipation of it.

however upon researching it some more we learned about the factions, we had all planned on playing together and using this as a way to keep in contact after we leave for college next summer, but we cant agree on which faction to join.

my friend Robert loves high elves, my friend Ethan loves dark elves, and i am a giant fan of the breton. this would unfortunately place us all in different factions. now im sure we can find a way to compromise (we have decided to pull out of a hat ) but i would love it so much more if we could all play the race of our choosing without having to be split up.

is anyone else dissapointed by this?
