Zepher or Dwarven Black Bow of Fate?

My Dwarven armor-clad character is trying to choose between these two. For those who've used these bows which one do you prefer functionally and aesthetically and why?

Since neither bow is available in vanilla Skyrim shouldn't this poll be in either the Dragonborn or Dawnguard forums - or at least in the hints and spoilers forum ?

I am incline to agree.

Well, since there is no general DLC forum and there are no hints or spoilers in this thread I put it in general. I just wanted to ask a general question. I would very much appreciate an answer that isn't about which forum this thread should be in, it's clearly in the grey area.

I've never actually gotten Zepheyr.. but the Dwarven Black Bow of Fate has a very good enchantment (runs out of charge pretty fast) and has unique aesthetic.

Yeah, I love the enchantment and glowing circles too.

You're talking about weapons some people may not have heard of - in other words, spoilers, and you put their names in the title, no less.

Also you're asking for suggestions - in other words, hints

And yes, there are hints and spoliers sections, as per Se?or Cinco's post.

The Bow of Fate, definitely. Its design is intriguing and its enchantment is quite useful. Zephyr's nice-looking and its enchantment is handy if you haven't perked up your Archery tree, but if you have then your toon can fire plenty fast already and the extra 30% on top of the maxed speed just looks unrealistically quick.

Yeah, I get it. I don't think this thread fits in any of those sections, as it references multiple DLC and, thus, I chose to place it in the general Skyrim forum. Furthermore I don't think your or Senior Cinco's posts fit in this thread when their only purpose is to derail it and impede it's goal of establishing a preference and rational for one of the bows in question. Also, saying that the names of weapons are spoilers is like saying that learning Skyrim featured dragons before playing it was a spoiler. I would understand if I was discussing something like
Spoiler
Auriel's Bow
or the NYI "Falmer Bow of Dwemer Reviving and Thalmor Banishing", but I'm not, I'm discussing original, non lore-oriented weapons for the purpose of learning about their parameters in relation to one another. Therefore I would like to cordially ask you and Senior to kindly stop posting in this thread, thank you.

Back to the topic, I'm curious, in all of your experiences does the Dwarven Black Bow's enchantment allow it to pull ahead of Zephyr's higher and faster physical damage?

Thanks, that's very informative as I typically carefully line up my shots and firing too quickly would not be of use to me when I'm using a bow. Do the slow time / zoom perks help with this at all?

It belongs in the Dragonborn spoiler section as you are discussing content that relates between it and another DLC. The point is not to derail, but to keep the GD forum free of this kind of misplaced discussion. There are many of us that have yet to play either of those and to even mention them in here is quite disrespectful to the community.

I didn't know either bow existed until i saw them mentioned here, in the topic title - so for me, at least, it was a spoiler. If you think I'm trying to derail the thread, contact a moderator and let him/her decide.

Also, saying that the names of weapons are spoilers is like saying that learning Skyrim featured dragons before playing it was a spoiler.

As I said, I didn't know they existed. I assumed, naively, that I'd missed them during my playthroughs of the vanilla game.

And dragons were featured heavily in the Skyrim trailer , so I'm not sure what your point is

I feel bad for players who can't get this DLC yet. They try to avoid spoilers from dragonborn and dawnguard and they get spoilers thrown in their face anyway...

Spoilers require storyline details, of which this thread has none. Again, I was discussing the parameters of weapons from a gameplay perspective and receive some very helpful input from other posters. Ahem, SPOILER ALEART DLC contain new unique armor and weapons!!! I didn't discuss where to find these weapons or even the associated quests so I can't comprehend what has gotten you few in a tizzy. If you went to the wiki or UESP page for these weapons, not linked here, than I contend that that's your fault for doing so. I get that PC and PS3 users don't have Dawnguard or Dragonborn yet, but again, I didn't spoil a shred of their plots further than that there are new bows, like there is in EVERY DLC. Now, since you all are so disturbed by this, let's agree to stop posting in this thread, and thus keeping at the top of the forums, alive.
