Whilst I barely watch any of them any longer, I have quite a backlog of DVDs and I feel that it is a shame that they are simply getting damaged within an old cupboard to the point that I will soon no longer be able to watch some of them. Since my new television has the ability to play media (such as videos) from any hard-drive, which can be purchased pretty cheaply nowadays should my laptop not have enough storage, I thought it would be a nice idea to rip all of my DVDs to my laptop or hard-drive for future viewing. I don't need anything fancy. Just some software that creates a rip of a DVD that can just be played in Windows Media Player. Any recommendations?
