I had a courrier come up to me with a letter while in White Run. It was a letter that someome had died and I had been bequethed 100 gold. 2 questions 1)is there a quest related to this. 2) Has this happened to anyone else. Thanks for any help.

Happened to me, I was rather confused as well.

There is no quest, it just means that an NPC you befriended (probably did a favor quest for) died and left you money in his/her will. It can happen in anybody's game under those circumstances.

Yes it happens when vampires or dragon attacks kill a certain person in a town. It kinda svcks because i always lose alvor and other NPC's i like/

1) no related quests with these

2) has happened to me a few times. Sometimes there's an obvious reason reason why someone dies (eg dragon attack), other times it just seems random.
