Terrain Advantage

You sometimes charge into bandit-filled caves and hack/shoot/burn them all down. But their are times when you really have to put effort into a fight. I was wondering, does anyone here use the terrain and landscape to your advantage?

When fighting the Centurion before you get to Blackreach, I was running up the stairs, jumping down behind him, and running away and all over the place. The AI was so confused and could not get into a good position to fight me, and his steam could never reach me.

I also love those bow and arrow duels with a lot of taking cover and trading off shots and all.

Also, the columns at Nahrikiin's location come in handy, and I use to run all around them and come up on the otherside, attack him and do it again. Also came in handy when two dragons attacked me at that same spot.

Love it when giants chase you up a winding rocky path too!

When I'm fighting for my life, I'll use any advantage I can get. Only advantages I won't use are insanely overpowered crafting and incredibly stupid AI.

I tend to use it all the time. My archers will seek high ground for every fight possible.

My warriors, will set behind a corner to shield from ranged attacks and bottleneck the enemy in one at a time. They are usually met with a charged PA to the face as they round the corner.

Does using smaller doorways when fighting Centurions count as stupid AI? Because I so do that with archers.

It could be considered stupid AI, but I like calling it 'player intelligence'.

When in Nord ruins. I will always make sure I have a Ring-Around-The-Rosy set in play behind me, as I go through the ruin. This usually ends up being more of a Tiskit-a-Taskit Ring-Around-The-Casket.
