Lifting Thrust Kill Move Gone?

Post » Fri Dec 28, 2012 3:25 am

So I decided to start a new Character about 2 weeks ago and now I'm level 40, I wanted to go with a Nord with a two handed sword to change things up a bit. For some reason my favorite kill move the
"Lifting Thrust" is just not happening I get about 3-4 different ones. Was the Lifting Thrust removed with the patch?

From the kill camera page - http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Kill_Camera

Lifting thrust - The Dragonborn thrusts the blade into the mid-section of the target, lifting them off the ground.

My Two handed perk tree looks like this:

It still exists as a Killcam. It has decreased in how often it happens, I tend to get the beheading where the NPC sees it coming more.

I get it with duel wielding swords and get the lift/thrust all the time.

I did notice most of the hand to hand killcams have vanished. I don't get the rear naked choke or the drop onto the ground and break their back move anymore. Just fist pound and suplex. :(

I'm mainly talking about the Two-handed sword version, but out of playing 40 levels with this character I have not seen the lifting thrust once. I keep getting the pommel beatdown or heavy decapitation mostly with a few others in the mix. Kind of svcks because that's one of the main reasons I went two handed sword in the first place.
