hi guys! so, i've had my eye on this a while and i'm wondering if my ancient 2008 pc with Windows Office XP with satellite internet can play this? and if so, do i need to find a certain clan or group to play this? and if so, can you point me in the right direction? i'm not really into the pc gaming scene and not very familiar but i wanna try this out. i appreciate it! thanks y'all!

TESO isnt out yet, and they did say around 2013 it should come. Before that there should be a beta. We also do not know the system specs as of yet.. Here is the http://elderscrollsonline.com/en/ for more info

The general implication is that when it launches, if your system was built within five years prior, it should be able to run it.

It should be noted however that there is a big distinction between being able to run it and being able to run it well. If you don't really care about how good it looks and just want to play it, you might be able to run it in its lowest graphical settings. It will probably look like dog crap, but you might be able to play wit fair framerate.

If however you want to be able to play it with all of its graphical glory, you may want to invest in a new machine.

I would think that the satellite internet might be a bigger problem than your PC, because of latency.

If I might make a suggestion, I recently got a NVidia GeForce 650 Ti, and it's an amazing card. Low-power (requires 400w supply, which is cheap), low heat, low cost (~$150 or so), small size (6 inches), high performance.

Perfect if you're on a budget.
