What do You expect from this game and will there be a place

:excl: Chapter ONE - a role playing game.

I have seen plenty of online games and only few had a role of crafter.
Hell, most of those MMORPG should be theoretically sued for misleading gamers as they ware just fantasy MMOG, because those games had NO ROLE TO PLAY! Just bunch of fighters using different weapons (bows, swords, daggers, magic) to kill their opponents.
For example no wizard or mage role as everyone gets already identified item or there is very convenient npc who will identify it for small fee (identification is just an example - do not try to build your counterargument on it).
No crafter roles as every crafted item was identical to ones made by hundreds of other crafters or even everyone in the whole [censored] universe could craft it by themselves. No customization due to experience, stats, skills, customs, not even simple randomness .. So no matter if you play dwarf or elf both of you could make some fine magic filled master elven items and both could do same legendary heavy dwarven weaponry or armor or anything.

Worlds filled with not even Jack of All Trades but Masters of All Trades...
Some games try to get along with this by creating a specific race or class that in exchange for their combat abilities gives them, and only them crafting possibilities but on the beginning its nice, but in the end everyone ends up pretty quickly with alt char just for crafting/enchanting/buffing/etc.

Games lack Role Playing as in the end all chars are becoming Jack of All Trades and Masters of Some. All are self sufficient and can become anyone and everyone.... at the same time. I have no problem with that in offline, single player games as it is me and solely me who is driving gameworld.
In onlinegaming its a must to be best in all as it is a competition. Players that try to play the roles achieve nothing in the game world. So getting best at everything that game allows is not a possibility, its a must. Its up to devs to make boundaries (either hard border-like fixed amount of skill points to relocate or psychical borders where player needs to calculate whether its best for him to spend time at becoming excellent in something while neglecting something else).

So getting to point...

How does the crafting/building/tinkering/constructing system will look like in ESO? Will there be a role of crafter? Anybody knows?
Because if its gonna be just another pvp and level grinding game then there are games that are already better than ESO (and I can tell it without even playing it, before its even released...) and Elder Scrolls Universe will not help ESO as Star Wars Universe did not help SWTOR. Not mentioning that using external universe for online game makes some restrictions on possible changes to the game due to that universes lore. ...and every broken lore is like a another patch on the branded clothes - it will still work for those who wear it, but it will cause less and less demand for that brand.

So will I be able to play this role (or any other role) and still enjoy multiplayer game or will I just be paying to play, in the end, single player online?

:excl: Chapter TWO - Adventure awaits!

It just makes me curious - what do You expect from ESO besides Elder Scrolls Universe?
Is there any specific thing that you have not seen or not seen often in online games that brought you here, or is it just Elder Scrolls that makes you interested and everything else is just addition to it?
...or maybe you are just interested because its a game with fresh start and quite popular and you are completely uninterested in mechanics/lore - so you will try to become strongest and thus make a fame to your nickname/clanname/etc in world of online gaming?
