I was level 100 when I went to the get the Conjuration Quest. I am now on top of the building in a snow storm but when I try to cast the Unbound spell nothing happens. That is to say, I build the charge but the spell doesn't fire. Am I doing something wrong? Should I have not waited until I reached 100? Anyone else have this problem?

I have no mods, playing plain vanilla with Dawnguard on a PC.

Do you have the Atronach Stone...this absorbs Conjuration spells causing them to fail...

Are you sure your on the top of the right building? I had a friend who tired the spell for an hour ontop of the Hall of Countenance when he was suppose to be ontop of the Hall of Attainment. And make sure you aim at the eye.

Also as the above says spell absorption screws with conjuration spells.

Sorry, my bad! I found that the lead up to casting that spell was longer than I was used to. I'm all set now.

So that's what it is... I thought it was a glitch that came with some old update. But clearly I had just switched to Atronach back then. Thanks for clearing this up!
