First of all this isn't another "you have ruined my childhood for changing doom 3" whine thread I just wanted to thank you guys for porting it so good on the Xbox 360.
I really love the game and haven't noticed any changes to the old doom.
I've played it with my Gf to scare her a bit (which worked perfectly) and enjoyed the story with her and especially the shock moments or the suspense when you hear there's something but you can't see it.
So to everyone who doesn't like the BFG Edition - grab your Girlfriend (a sister should work too), give her the controller and enjoy the show.

So thanks again for reviving something I loved 9 years ago so I can combine it with something I love now.
And to all the "you should just..." posts yet to come: I am just expressing my opinion.
