Roleplaying Lord Kagrenac, the befuzzled Dwemer returned to

Post » Tue Jan 01, 2013 11:15 pm

Been a while since I played Skyrim and decided to return to do something I've not seen anyone do before. I'll have Lord Kagrenac, the man who most likely erased his entire race from existence, dropped back into the world - perhaps as a trick by the gods, the punishment for playing with powers that should be left to them alone.

Used the Dunmer build, originally thought Bosmer might be closer, but couldn't get the face or complexion right. Radac Stungnthumz, who's the only real Dwemer (that actually looks like one) resembles a dark elf ther most (of the remaining Mer races) and I think I got my character looking enough like a Dwemer for it to be believable. Let his skin be grey-ish due to his age, gave him long white hair, and the thickest beard I could find (sadly none as thick as the regular Dwemer beard) - settled for the one with the knot.

And just like that, the once powerful and brilliant dwemer lord is in Tamriel once more. He's old, grey, weak and quite full of himself. He hides his sorrow, desperation and confusion behind bloated self importance. I'll play him Don Quixote-esque character. Charging the windmills, or in this case, chasing his lost glory. I'll have him meet up with some adventurers, perhaps bring one along as his Sancho. He'll be grumpy and out of touch, and I'll probably chuckle of my own old guy jokes. Can't hardly wait to to begin. Will press play now.
