Would Miraak's Robes Be Good For A Battlemage?

I've been wondering if I should make a Breton Battlemage that uses Agent of Mara,Atronach Stone,Atronach Perk,Magic Resistance 3/3,and Miraak's gear.Would this make a great Battlemage?

What's a fast and easy,cheap method of leveling up Alteration?

Casting Alteration spells, I would assume.

I got well rested bonus and used candlelight a lot.
Detect life is also a good one because the more people you detect the better.
