The weapons all have base stats like damage, speed, so on so forth. well you can modify (ahh lets use that word!) the weapon ONLY when you are making it at the forge. so lets say you are making a steel mace. You are given the option: add little spikes, increase speed by what ever but decrease damage by 1. add 4 big spikes, decrease speed by 2, increase damage by 3.
on swords you could add seraded blade that would increase damage but decrease speed. (decrease speed because the teeth may get caught in the armor or something.
what do you guys think? could this kind of system work? of course you could just leave the weapon as it's base is, but adding the modification would use more resources. I just think it would be cool to add something like that, kinda personalize each weapon..
