Thorin is boss but sadly I wouldn't make a character based on him because he is a dwarf and they do not exist in TES and even if dwarves come back they dont look like classic dwarves.

Woah, my negative input was not directed at you lol. I sense the sarcasm there. I was just complaining because I would like to see dwarves return.

Hey, it's what happens. When the game hit stores, everyone and their cousin made characters from A Game of Thrones. Or Aragorn. Or Legolas. Or Bosmer/Breton Hobbits.

On topic- Heavy Armor, Axe, give him a majestic beard.
You have successfully created a Tolkein-esque Dwarf imitation.

Hmm, I am not sure what equipment I'd use, but I ca give it a try.

I think that the closest thing to his clothing, from the pictures I conjured up to see the details I might have forgotten, is actually Ulfric's clothing. If you're on PC those should be easy enough to obtain, and if not I suggest you start moving with the Imperial side of the Civil War. As for weapon, the Nordic sword added in Dragonborn should do the trick, if you have access to that(soon to come to PC IIRC). I have no suggestion of what weapon to give him in the vanila game.

No problem. Can't fault anyone for wanting to make him, he had a cool character design.
