Would it be cool u can ride a caravan or cart from big province to province like in skyrim but this time u would be able to view the journey from start to end instead of a loading screen. I would definitely spent some time doing that just to enjoy the scenery. Maybe they can even make a few random side quests that appear if u do so such as bandit raid ur caravan or horse cart,meet someone that need help along the way,pick up someone etc... I think it will be fun and it help player to explore the road

Too many people would whine at there being wait times for travel.

That being said, I'd be all for it if it were a shortened trip. Obviously you would not want to sit there while your horse traverses the entirety of Skyrim. There were airship rides in FFXI that lasted 3 or 4 minutes, and boat rides could get up to 10, which allowed for fishing and random monster pops.

I'd love to see this sort of thing in ESO, but the whiney MMO kiddies would do nothing but complain about it. Everything must be NOW NOW NOW these days.

Maybe they can design a skip button for them and they wun also experience the random event cus they choose to skip it
