Starting anew.....

Hey all! Hope your 2013 is going great so far. :)

I bought Skyrim on 11-11-11 just like many of you and played it exhaustively for a number of months leading up to early summer (2012) before shelving it. Then around early December i purchased Hearthfire, Dawnguard and Dragonborn. Since then, i just recently completed the DG & DB expansions but still have the itch to play more. So i was thinking of starting over with a new character and have everything clean & fresh. But i have a question or two. (i play on Xbox)

Have you guys and girls started over again with a new character using the latest patch? Before i do that, though, I'll be deleting all saves off the Xbox HDD and do a system cache clear.

So here are my questions: Even with a cleared cache, re-installed game, redownloaded latest patch, and re-install the 3 DLC's, do we still have to "clean up after ourselves"? Meaning, do i still have to pick up every enemy weapon/arrow/and bow off the ground and deposit it in their corpse in order for the game to run as lag free as possible and to keep the file saves from bloating? My very first character - (before deleting it because it was almost unplayable) - was at level 51(?), 155 hours and 18/19MB file size. It lagged pretty bad. But on my current character, since i've been "house cleaning" EVERYTHING, is a level 59, 188 hours, and 14MB size file. With hardly any lag.

Second and third questions: Is there still a problem with some quests permanently stuck in your journal or quest items in your inventory (ie Amulet of Talos for that lady in Solitude) even though you succesfully completed it? They're not groundbreaking, but are just bothersome. And lastly, is the "glitch" fixed where even if you're cured from lycanthropy, the "Number Of Days As A Werewolf" stat still continues to count and the guards sometimes make comments about "hair coming out your ears"? etc etc...

Thank you everyone! The first "sort of" takes away from the flow of the game and i kinda dont want to do that anymore if i don't have to. The last two are not gamebreaking, but i'm OCD and little things like that annoy me! :D

Thank you all again!
