SKSE and gamepad

Hi there,

First of all, if this issue has been already discussed in other threads, please feel free to remove the topic (admin).

I would like to know if it is possible to use a gamepad with skse, I haven't found info about it, I don't doubt it actually exists, but I haven't been able to find it.

Absolutely, I've used both together for a year or so.
I can't remember if Skyrim allows you to use keyboard and controller simultaneously (I know Fallout didn't) so you may have difficulty with mods that add new buttons, but there's always Xpadder (other brands are available).
Anyway, it's possible.

From the thread on SKSE:

Spoiler
The Skyrim Script Extender, or SKSE for short, is a modder's resource that expands the scripting capabilities of Skyrim. It does so without modifying the executable files on disk, so there are no permanent side effects.

I'm not sure what your worried about but to answer your question yes you can use a gamepad with SKSE installed. In fact, SKSE has events that can detect input from a gamepad.
