At launch yes, in fact we can only conquer keeps, take over some small farms and mills, around the Imperial City, what they add later, and whats going to be somekind of reward for winning faction as far I know. Also they've mentioned E-sports but its not gonna make it to the launch.

Important to realize Cyrodil is absolutely HUGE zone.

Also theres quests, dungeons in Cyrodil. ESO's dungeons are public so other faction can come and ruin your fun.

And what happens when one faction has conquered all of Tamriel and slaughtered the other alliances?

yep unfortunately we can't cross factions

But, as cyrodill is very very big i trust ZOS, the pvp will not be dreary.
Futhermore this area is not only for pvp, maybe open donjon, craft, quests, ...

That's all i want, (i'm PK in my soul) lots of fun during pvp/rvr.

Seeing how PvP went in Ultima Online, odds are pretty good you'll get your wish.

not sure about all the cyrodil dungeons being public, but the ones in the faction areas have sometimes instances.

there is a huge differnce between PvP in Ultima Online and how PvP will be in ESO

In UO when you killed another player you got to loot the corpse while the player who lost stood there as a ghost unable to do anything because anything the loosing player typed into chat came out as ghostly sounds like OooooO OoooO and this also meant that if the loosing player happened to have their house key on them the winning player could loot that and use the key to gate to their house and loot anything that was not locked down or in a secure chest.

PvP in UO was not for those who could not stand to loose their gear and you very quickly learned that it was far better to use crafted gear because it was good enough and cheap enough so that you could have a few sets in your bank ready to go so that you could gear back up and get back to the spot you died and try to kill that player so you could get your stuff back

I can even remember dying my gear pure black so that it blended in with my corpse box and some players would then miss your gloves or boots and they would still be there when you got back to your corpse.

I loved PvP in UO, however it was definetly not like PvP will be in ESO, make no mistake about that. Fights lasted a very long time if it was a one vs one fight and no one interferred or niether player lagged and lots due to lag. I made it a career that I hunted PK's and they usually had a bounty on them and I would take their head and turn it in at the bank for reward.

I Really do miss the PvP in UO but thinking back on it now I have become used to the not loosing my gear and it would probably bother me more now then it did back then.

The world system kinda svcks. That's cause i want to roam around Tamriel. Maybe go to the places where we had dragon ruins in skyrim(of course they would not be there) I want to be a merchant who buys exquisite stuff from some land and sells them in other lands. I don't want to fight the war, but be the blacksmith whose weapons won the war. If entire cyrodil is PvP zone, then would it look like keeps and dungeons or will we have towns and imperial city (populated) as well?
