As the title says, my question is if skyrim supports 7.1 surround sound for a headset.

I have have a 7.1 headset and a audio card.

Headset: Razer Tiamat 7.1
Audio card: ASUS Xonar DX PCI-E 7.1

I've tried to just play around with the settings on the equalizer the audio card driver provided. The headset works great for music and movies it's a crystal clear sound.

But when it comes to skyrim the NPC voices becomes very strange when I'm positioning my character so my left ear is pointing towards the NPC talking. I don't really know how to explain it, but the sound is just the voice without any kind of bass in it, if you understand what I mean. The voice is clear, but is lacking some of the sound.

I hope you who reads this understand what I'm trying to say. It's only on the left ear the sound is a bit strange.
