Few questions where to go from here

Hi all

Been a huge fan of all the Elder Scroll games and Skyrim is the best yet. But because of how long or shall i say, how BIG the game is im unsure where to take my toon.

Im working towards heavy armour using 1hand sword and a shield but i admit i like casting big powerful spells too... can you end up with every perk?

Ive seen pics of the legendary dragon items which look amazing so still working my way to that atm..think im at lvl 70 smithing!

I play on normal setting adept i believe it is..

Im for ever trying to find new guides and info so really apperiate any tips or help..as i love this game and want to find and do all the little things possible!

Should i carry on with heavy armour or go to light or mage? im level 26 and i do have the chance to reset perks since ive done the dragonborn dlc.
They mention a orc strongold in dragorn dlc...but not found it? is there one?
Any crafting tips or enchanting?

Im in the fight against the imperial scum :D though i have completed the main quest before on this try im doing the faction stuff first as i didnt do that first time round.

Anyway thanks all,

Hulk

1. It is impossible to get all the perks. There's something in the area of 200+ perks, and the level cap is around 83-84. There's barely enough levels to fully specialize in one area of perks (mage, warrior, theif.)

2. Armor doesn't much matter after a certain point. Heavy armor has more potential than light armor by raw stats, but specializing in one via perks can make light armor better than heavy armor. There's also an effective armor cap of 567; you can get more, but it won't count outside of a handful of special cases. You can achieve this with steel or elven armor if you want. Boost your Smithing to 127 for heavy or 154 for light via a mix of alchemy and enchanting to hit the cap.

3. We can't answer what you should or should not do with your character; it all depends on your playstyle. If you want to cast spells with your sword, then go ahead and get your perks reset.

4. Dragonplate armor is not better than Daedric armor. Dragonscale armor is better than Glass armor. If you're going for raw stats, keep that in mind.

5. Buy Prima's Official Strategy Guide for Skyrim. It doesn't have a lot of special tricks (such as hitting the armor cap) but it does give you most of the in-game secrets.

Thank you for taking the time to reply Marss. Been playing since it came out and its only just now after i have took the time to redo the game i am taking the time to do EVERYTHING possible rather then just the main story..so im trying to make sure i dont miss anything.

I hope there is going to be another DLC like dragonborn..fantastic! might try dawnguard when funds allow it! ill look into the guide you mention.

If you find your self bored would be interested in how you play the game
