Pixelated blocky graphics (indoors)

Post » Sun Jan 06, 2013 7:15 pm

Hi

I have tried searching and couldn't find anything matching my issue, apologies if there is already a thread (no doubt there will be).

I've just installed Skyrim on Steam after hearing countless tales of awesome mods and am having trouble with pixelated graphics.

It seems to be far worse inside (it seems to be most noticable when shadows are cast on a character).

Below are my Skyrim setting, PC spec and a screenshot of the problem. Any ideas?

3.10 gigahertz Intel Core i5-2400
256 kilobyte primary memory cache
1024 kilobyte secondary memory cache
6144 kilobyte tertiary memory cache
64-bit ready
Multi-core (4 total)

Sorry, I can't post links, just copypaste and adjust back (if these need removing then I can edit)

Those graphics in second screenshot ( http://i46.tinypic.com/2dbuhyt.jpg ) look fine to me. Maybe install the official High Res texture pack (on steam)?

Really? On the arm of my character?

It just seems strangely blocky.

If that's just the textures fair enough, I'll give the High res pack a whirl. Thanks!

Oh, I didn't notice that. What graphics card do you have?
