Gamedesign problem

Long time ago (ten years maybe) we was able to fly (to levitate). It causes no problems for the game world to act properly. We was able to unlock any door without console. We even had no need to use only lockpiks to deal with any type of locks. There was some magic of Alteration school (There was much more magic anyway). And the world had no problems with us. Flying, breaking any locks, entering any doors. Speaking with any character at our own desire.
Do you feel you are capable to unlock door to Vivec's Palace? Come and say "Good Morning!" to a living god! Are you strong enough to enter Btuangtuw? Make a visit to Dagoth Ur! No problem to swim faster than slaughterfish. No problem to jump over any cliff.

You know, i'm your devoted fan. Without sh*t. But i'm more then confused to find need-key-doors or invisible walls again and again. If your game mechanics doesn't work without this, maybe she's not good enough? If a levitating hero causes so much problems, maybe it's time to change something? I know, you often see comments like this one. But if they appears, maybe something goes wrong with TES?

I'm not going to teach you about proper game design. Who i am, to do this? But maybe it will be great to grant the player an ability to reach any location what can be reached without special event. Just come in and say "Hello!" to Lord Vivec, but you will hear "Welcome, Nerevarine" only if you really became that one.

From Gray-May-Be with love.

I actually see a pretty big issue with levitation for Skyrim. The main one being that cities are not in the main world space as they are in Morrowind. Flying over the walls of Whiterun from the outside would reveal the barely detailed placeholder buildings.

I don't see why they removed open-lock alteration spells. I use a mod that adds them and it works just fine.

I also haven't experienced any invisible walls aside from the borders. Just the physics not letting me go up a particular slope.
