for anything other then brawling? especially since im a khajiit?

I'd unenchant it and use the enchantments on some other gear. Preferably with high enchanting.

As far as I know you can either learn the enchantment or use the gloves if you do not have the fist of steel perk. But from what i hear It is probably better to keep the gloves until you have a high enchanting and/or a high Heavy Armor skill.
