Will there be any future updates for Skyrim on PS3 that might address the performance issues? I've seen Skyrim being played on Xbox 360 and have compared it to my own PS3 running Skyrim and can say without a doubt that things are a lot smoother on the Xbox's side of things.

Not until the PS4 is out, and Bethesda knows how to code for it.

Should I just purchase Skyrim for Xbox 360? I have access to a PS3 version of the game but find it quite difficult to play it as is. Does the Xbox have any kind of performance issues?
