So I meet this guy and he tells me there's no more quests to do or villians to slay and I'm just standing there as a dragon is flying around above us and thinking, "what kind of lazy hero is this guy?"

Does he not notice the dragons wiping out villages, the vampires killing citizens, the huge Civil War brewing? What about all the dungeons filled with evil dead things? And this guy thinks there is nothing left to do?

Maybe his quests involved escorting bunny rabbits across the dirt road or something.
