Lost items!

Post » Tue Jan 08, 2013 3:22 pm

Does anyone know if its possible to search for an item on Xbox 360 Skyrim? Belrand had one of the 8 masks and was killed and I forgot to take it back off him and can't remember where he died? Is there a quick way to find out where either belrand is lying or where the mask is?
Many Thanks

Welcome to the forums. No I dont think there is a way to find a specific item on the 360. Can only suggest you reload a couple of saves to find out where he died, then load your current save and return to the required location.

Anyway, I am on PC so console commands is out of the question. My only suggestion I can think of is rolling back a save before he died. Hopefully you did not have too much progress in between

Fortunately you can go back to a previous save on the 360, find the location or information you require and then reload your current save without losing anything and return to said location.

Cheers it's been ages since he died ?? only realised when I went to put them all together! Will just have to hunt through places and hope his pathetic corpse is there waiting for me! I've read that Nic's bodies end up in hall of dead from where they're from do you know if there's any truth in this??
Cheers Guys!! ??

That is true. Hopefully the saves in between were not long enough to activate the clean up on the corpses. How long is it usually in game? I think 3 days

Like craig said, backtrack to where he died via saves then load current save to go to that location without losing progress.

Only thing is...did you use separate saves? :o
