Roleplaying as your characters "Guardian Angel"

In my http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLvwrEqwe9aSVIVhvApo3as7DDT5X-DAMD, I have discovered the wonders of RPing a new-to-me way: when I am in third person view I am playing as my character's Guardian Angel. When I am in first-person, I am playing as my character, speaking, thinking and acting as her. This has open up some great storytelling moments!
  • It creates a relationship between me and the character, giving her more to work with in developing a personality.
  • It makes for great arguments/discussions about what we're doing in the quest/world.
  • It gives me a skill, The Guardian Angel Talent, where I can use the freecam console command to separate from my character once per day and survey the surroundings for enemies. This helped Mala, my character, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EvZGPWsmQQ.
The best part? The story is over when Mala no longer needs her Guardian Angel!

In this method of roleplay, you and your character work together to solve problems. Mala and I lockpick items together, for instance. Recently, we http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=itwPXnRbIMs together.

So what say ye, fellow roleplayers? Sound interesting? Play that way already?

Yep, this is the way I play too. My character and I are an adventuring party of two. I advise, I suggest, I plead, and my headstrong characters do whatever they were going to do anyway. It's my job to try to keep up. :)
