Addition to Xbox 360 verison

Post » Wed Jan 09, 2013 4:06 am

Bethesda should really add in a way for PC users to make mods for the Xbox 360 verison of Skyrim, to help with replayability. Have them maybe upload them to a server, and maybe have a option on the 360 main menu to download these mods from said server and turn them on and off. I don't know about you but I'd love this more than any DLC.

Modifying consoles in anyway is illegal until they allow them to be done. So, no.

Its not illegal, besides think of it as mini dlc instead of a mod

You'd have to get Microsoft and Sony on board with the idea.

As the situations currently stand, neither console manufacturer is even willing to entertain that idea. Son until they change their minds, it's a no-go for mods on the consoles.

Microsoft won't let it happen. Wishful thinking, but no.

Microsoft and Sony frown upon modding, it is against the end user agreement. Besides I believe it is frowned upon talking about modding consoles on the forums.

Talking about modding consoles illegally is against Forum rules, yes.

Wishing mods were available for the consoles, is not.

It's kind of splitting hairs, but that's how it works.

Splitting hairs or not, the topic will head in the direction of modding consoles illegally one way or another. It's not happening this generation, quite simple really.

It would make cheating too easy and be more complex and dangerous. Too much risk of malicious stuff hidden to steal your info from the console.

No, the only good idea would be to make console commands accessible on console.

Also, I'm new but I assume this breaks rules, so inb4lock.
