I just got off the World of Warcraft forums, and now I have a brand-new appreciation for Elder Scrolls/Skyrim Downloadable content...

People have laughed and poked fun at Bethesda for asking a whopping $2.50 for Horse Armor in 2006. To this day they're laughed at and derided over it.

...and now - Blizzard is asking people in World of Warcraft, for the meek modest price of $25.00 (nearly half the price of a brand-new game, and 100x the price of the above horse armor) for basically a glorified version of the same thing in World of Warcraft... a new horse-goat-thing with new armor... it even uses the Ram mount animation from the original WoW Vanilla game.

Seriously... this thing costs $5 more than Dawnguard.

This thing costs $5 more than Dragonborn.

That $5 extra dollars could've even bought you Hearthfire.
