When I last worked on modding the game, I had to do a process similar to - download and activate them with the Nexus downloader, run BOSS to arrange them in a somewhat desirable order, load up WyreBash and (toggle some setting so it works with BOSS? i forgot), run a bashed patch with some specific settings (forgot that too), and load the bashed patch last and it was ready for play. Not including SKSE, which I know I will need.
Now I don't know if the process has changed at all or if any new programs were released to help out, and as you can see I forgot some of the process as well ( I don't remember the specific order even, as u can see). I would really appreciate it if someone could give me a step by step for the best methods of adding mods currently!
Also, in Oblivion I used to make "mod packs" for my less computer-savvy friends. I don't remember which program I used, but one of them basically combined all the separate mods in to one file that you "activate" same way as normal mods. Are there any programs that allow you to do this in Skyrim? That way once I get a mod pack together and make sure it has no major CTD's or anything, I can easily transfer it to my friends PC's.
Thanks!
