Thought I should take advantage of the 'free' training from followers. Went fine with Faendal. Then completed the questline for the companions, can get them as followers and access their inventory, but no money there after training.
Is this something that has been fixed in a patch without my knowledge?

It might have been patched, I'm not sure.

Did you install the Unofficial Skyrim Patch?

Thought I had uninstalled it, but checked now and I still have it. So that must be it, thanks.
