My game is barely playable. When will the next patch (1.8?)

Hi. I need some help and info, so i decided to register.

I pre-ordered and bought skyrim on it's release day. I persevered with all the bugs in the game as i like the Elder Scrolls games and because there were patches being released to correct the flaws in the game.

I finally gave up on Skyrim ever working at the start of September last year and, due to being busy at work, haven't been gaming much until recently.

I started playing again around Christmas and when i couldn't find my skyrim disc and, having heard from a friend further patches had been released, decided to buy another copy.

Unfortunately i am still unable to play the game to due the same variety of issues that ruined my game before, such as extremely poor frame rate, infinite loading screens, hard locks, uncompletable quests, various visual and physics based glitches, NPC's disappearing and numerous other issues.

Having asked around friends and searched on google i see that there seems to be no further info regarding Skyrim being fixed to be found.

So i have come here, to the Official Forums, to the Skyrim Hardware and Software Issues Subforum, PS3 Page, to ask for an official response to the following:

Is Bethesda still commited to rectifying the outrageous number of game ending, experience spoiling, time wasting bugs and glitches that Skyrim was released with and currently still has?

If the answer to that is yes then: Is there currently another patch in the works, what does it address and when can we expect it to be released?

If the answer is no then: Why not? I have bought and paid for the game twice now and have been unable to play it properly, have never been able to finish the Main Questline along with a lot of other Questlines, bearing in mind it was released to much fanfare in November 2011.

Do you think it unreasonable that i should expect to be able to play a game i have bought and paid for over a year ago?

I would like an official response to these questions please. As a paying customer i think i deserve one, as does everyone else who bought the game.

Thanks.
