First off I'm new to the forums and the Elder Scrolls universe, Skyrim being the first game I played in the series. I'm absolutely in love with the lore Bethesda has created and I look forward

to playing many more Elder Scrolls games and getting to know its imaginative community. Okay... I'm aware of the exploit where you max out Alchemy, Enchanting, and Smithing skills to

100 and use Fortify Smithing Potions to make godly weapons and armor. My question is: Does this exploit only work on non-improved weapons and armor, or it doesn't matter?

I'm interested in this exploit not because I want incredibly OP weapons and armor, but because I want my two favorite, not-so-poweful weapons in the game to at least be on par with

Daedric weapons: the Nightingale Bow and Dawnbreaker.
